The gentleman standing is Thomas Cole's son Theodore Cole.

Born January 1, 1838

Died December 13, 1928

The young boy is Thomas Cole III.

Born December 28, 1883

Died March 28, 1956

The older woman is Thomas Cole's daughter Emily.

Born August 27, 1843

Died September 18, 1913

One of the younger women is Mary Emily Cole who married Charles Van Loan on October 4, 1904. Charles Van Loan is the photographer who took these photos.

The bulldog is "Jack"

The rest of the people have not been identified.

The Hudson-Fulton Celebration - Catskill, NY

 

From Saturday, September 25, to Monday, October 11, 1909, the State of New York commemorated, under the auspices of the Hudson-Fulton Celebration Commission, the 300th anniversary of the discovery of the Hudson River by Henry Hudson in 1609 and the 100th anniversary of the first successful application of steam to navigation upon that River by Robert Fulton in 1807.
